Symphonic Wind Orchestra of the Traunreut City Band

We are committed to intensive rehearsal work to master symphonic wind orchestra literature. Seeking, finding, and experiencing the sound is our stated goal.

Our orchestra consists of woodwind and brass instruments, as well as a large concert percussion section. Unlike traditional brass bands, we also incorporate instruments such as the oboe, bassoon, alto and bass clarinet, English horn, and double bass to achieve a distinct variety of sound.

Starting with just under 300 visitors per concert, we have since grown our audience to nearly 800 enthusiastic listeners per performance.

Our symphonic wind orchestra grew out of what was then known as JUNGMUSIK back in 2008. Through intensive rehearsals, we reached a very high standard, which in turn attracted great interest from local musicians but also created a barrier for young people (new musicians). We therefore founded the SBST so that we could dedicate ourselves fully to symphonic literature while making JUNGMUSIK accessible and attractive to young talent once again. As a club, we are proud of this founding history and the intensity of our concerts.

Our members live within a radius of up to 150 kilometers from our rehearsal location. Consequently, early and reliable organization is a vital foundation for our club's work.

Due to our large catchment area, we rely on reliable organization and communication. Integrating a digital club tool was therefore a goal we were eager to achieve.

While basic functions are available in several tools, the chat feature could give Vereinsplaner a lasting competitive edge. Beyond the functionality, we truly value the fast and friendly support.
