Symphonic brass band of the Stadtkapelle Traunreut

We are committed to intensive rehearsal work to develop symphonic wind band literature. Searching for, finding and (living) sound is our declared goal.

The line-up of our orchestra consists of woodwind and brass instruments as well as large concert percussion. In contrast to traditional brass bands, we also use instruments such as oboe, bassoon, alto and bass clarinet, cor anglais and string bass to provide a distinctive variety of sounds.

Starting with just under 300 visitors per concert, we were able to expand our audience to almost 800 enthusiastic listeners per performance.

We were created as a symphonic wind orchestra from the former JUNGMUSIK. That was in 2008. Through intensive rehearsal work, we reached a fairly high level, which in turn aroused great interest from surrounding musicians, but also became an inhibition for young people (new musicians). We have therefore founded SBST so that we can dedicate ourselves fully to musical literature and at the same time make JUNGMUSIK accessible and attractive again for young talent. As a club, we are proud of this founding story and the intensity of our concerts.

Our members live within a radius of up to 150 kilometers from the rehearsal site. Early and reliable organization is therefore an important foundation of our association's work.

Due to our large circle of sources, we depend on reliable organization and communication. The integration of a digital association tool was therefore a worthwhile goal for us.

The basic features are available in some tools, but the chat feature could position Vereinsplaner favorably in the long term. In addition to the functionality, we really appreciate the fast and friendly support.
