Get started now
There are things we cannot change, only acknowledge and respond to constructively. But there are also things for which now is the perfect time to get started. Last update: 08/12/2026
Even when things are quieter in day-to-day club life or certain activities are currently on hold, the desire for exchange, community, and joint planning remains. You miss the members, the training sessions, the rehearsals, the meetings, or simply the familiar club life. To capture this feeling, you can plan events and activities well in advance.
Perhaps there are new club festivals, excursions, training camps, rehearsal weekends, or other joint activities coming up in the next few months. Why not plan ahead – ideally including alternatives for different event sizes, budgets, or conditions?
Meet online – for example, using Google Meet or Zoom – and plan your next events together. This strengthens your sense of community and keeps you in touch. Digital club meetings are a great way to facilitate social interaction while helping to distribute and better organize outstanding club tasks.
What do you think about the idea of contacting your club members by phone or digitally to ask for their opinion on the club? This allows you to gather valuable feedback, identify areas for improvement, and see which topics will be important in the future. You are also welcome to conduct this throughout the entire club using the Vereinsplaner survey function.
With the Vereinskaufhaus, we want to bring clubs and suitable companies or providers together. This connects two areas: clubs that need specific products or services, and companies that offer exactly those services.
Clubs have the opportunity to find suitable local companies and providers in various categories, such as club festivals, excursions, equipment, and much more. In addition to a complete profile, companies can list their products, promotions, and news to show clubs at a glance what services they offer.
Your club can recommend your long-standing corporate partners to us. If they decide to use the Vereinskaufhaus and sign up for a subscription, your club will receive 50 euros in cash for your club treasury.
As a club with a special offer, you can also promote this service free of charge in the Vereinskaufhaus. Simply send us your information using this submission form.

Now is the right time to get ahead for the future. "Marketing" often gets neglected in clubs. Not without reason, as it can be a lot of work—and the know-how is often simply missing, especially for online advertising. Now is the time to tackle it.
Go through old event photos, ask your members for permission, and see what you can use for promotional purposes. Perhaps you want to post them on Facebook or Instagram or launch a new club newsletter?
If you lack the skills, now is the time to learn about image editing—there are plenty of tutorials on YouTube. The same goes for growing your social media following—another area you can now give more attention to. This will also help you later when looking for sponsors.
You can also simply pre-plan social media posts and create an editorial calendar. You can do this in an Excel sheet or Google Sheets (which makes it easy to share with other club members) and note down what could or should be posted and when.
When was your website last updated? For many clubs, it’s been a while, yet an up-to-date website is more important than ever. After all, it is the first point of contact for prospective members and sponsors. If you don't have a website, skip ahead to the next chapter (Google My Business).
When is a better time than now to spruce up your website? You could write new copy or add more recent club photos to the site or to existing posts. If you run a blog, you can draft articles and select suitable images in advance.
Regular blog content drives more website traffic and keeps your members and sponsors up to date. This saves you from that often awkward question during your next sponsor search: "What exactly am I paying for all year?"
For clubs that don't have their own website yet, improving your online presence is no problem at all. In our article "Simple, free website for clubs", we have created a step-by-step guide for setting up your own Google My Business profile. There, you will learn all about the benefits, possibilities, and opportunities.
How are your club's inventory and finances looking? Now is the time to take a thorough look! Losses in both inventory and finances are easier to resolve the sooner they are discovered. Ideally, a good structure can help you avoid such losses entirely.
Clutter in your inventory happens on its own—a little tidying up now and then never hurts. Perhaps there are a few things you could clear out or sell? Of course, never forget to follow the necessary safety precautions.
You can now also manage your inventory and club finances via Vereinsplaner. This might be the perfect time to switch to a digital software solution for these two areas, making things much easier for you in the years to come.
