Sportschützen Scheffau

We are a sports shooting club from the Tyrolean lowlands, in which everyone, from children and adolescents to adults to seniors, finds their place and pursues a sport that requires and promotes concentration and body control.

In particular, we support and develop young and ambitious sports shooting talents and thus accompany them on their way to national and international competitions, but our already experienced shooters also regularly take part in numerous competitions such as the Austrian State Championships or federal state comparative battles and are supported by modern equipment and our trainers.

In addition to sporting activities, we also attach great importance to tradition and community, and so our club is regularly involved in events in the village and is generally regarded as a meeting place for young and old in the community.

In addition to some top international athletes who have already successfully participated in European and World Championships as well as the Olympic Games, our successful youth work, which was crowned with national victories, is also one of the biggest successes in recent years.

That, on the one hand, we were able to successfully pursue our sporting activities and recently put together a strong competition team that is fighting for podium finishes all the way to the national league and, on the other hand, that so many young people are involved in our club, including on the board of directors, and thus bring a breath of fresh air and a secure future to our community.

As a fringe sport in an area where skiing is very dominant, we are always striving to establish our sport more in society in order to find new members. With the same intention, we are also constantly looking for further supporters and sponsors for our club.

Increasing digitization is essential for our club, as this means that, even if members are in different locations, everyone can access the same documents and data and thus always remain up-to-date. Member administration and scheduling are thus also centralized and clear. For us, digitization also means using and being present on social media platforms, which we see as a great opportunity to address new target groups.
