Scheffau Sports Shooting Club

We are a sports shooting club from the Tyrolean Unterland where everyone—from children and teenagers to adults and seniors—can find their place and pursue a sport that demands and promotes concentration and body control.

We primarily support and develop young, ambitious shooting talents, guiding them on their path to national and international competitions. However, our experienced shooters also regularly take part in numerous competitions, such as the Austrian National Championships or inter-state matches, supported by modern equipment and our coaches.

Beyond our sporting activities, tradition and community are very important to us. Our club is regularly involved in village events and is generally considered a meeting place for young and old in the community.

In addition to several top international athletes who have already successfully participated in European and World Championships as well as the Olympic Games, our successful youth development program, crowned by national victories, is one of our greatest achievements in recent years.

On one hand, successfully pursuing our sporting activities and recently assembling a strong competitive team that fights for podium finishes up to the state league level; and on the other hand, seeing so many young people getting involved in our club, including on the board, bringing a breath of fresh air and securing a future for our community.

As a niche sport in an area where skiing is very dominant, we are constantly striving to establish our sport more firmly in society to attract new members. With the same intention, we are also always on the lookout for additional supporters and sponsors for our club.

Increasing digitalization is essential for our club. It allows everyone to access the same documents and data, even when members are in different locations, ensuring everyone stays up to date. It also centralizes member management and scheduling, making them much clearer. Furthermore, for us, digitalization means utilizing and maintaining a presence on social media platforms, which we see as a great opportunity to reach new target groups.
