Our club, with over 300 members, is an active ski touring club with its own clubhouse in winter and spring. Biking is very popular in spring, summer and autumn, and a multicultural summer program is added during the summer months. The focus is on community, nature and sport.
The Rapperswil-Jona Ski Club offers young and old a varied leisure program and, despite its over 300 members, has been a place for social and sporting events for 90 years.
Our ski club is an active tour club that carries out around 50 guided ski tours and 3-4 weeks of tours every year. Whenever winter slowly comes to an end and the days get longer and warmer again, our popular bike program starts. Then it is high time to wake the bike from hibernation and get it running, because bike training will start again soon.
The program is varied and offers something for everyone. The fact that we have maintained this high level of activities for years makes us particularly proud as a club.
More than 30 organizers and tour guides organize two to four events every week with 10 to 50 participants. This would be unthinkable without an efficient tool such as the Vereinsplaner app, which we have been using for four years.
For us, the self-organization of event organizers, flexibility, short-term participant information, postponements or cancellations, availability of all relevant participant data and easy accessibility of all participants are very important. In the mountains, this is also due to safety reasons. The Vereinsplaner app is easy to use for both organizers and members and serves exactly the purpose for our club.
