Our club, with over 300 members, is an active ski touring club in winter and spring, complete with our own clubhouse. In spring, summer, and autumn, biking is very popular, and during the summer months, we add a multicultural summer program. Community, nature, and sport are our main focus.
The Rapperswil-Jona Ski Club offers a varied leisure program for all ages and, despite having over 300 members, has been a hub for social and sporting events for 90 years.
Our ski club is an active touring club that conducts approximately 50 guided ski tours and 3-4 touring weeks annually. Whenever winter slowly comes to an end and the days get longer and warmer, our popular bike program begins. That’s when it’s high time to wake your bike from its winter slumber and get it ready, because bike training starts again soon.
The program is diverse and offers something for everyone. We are particularly proud as a club that we have been able to maintain this high level of activity for years.
Over 30 organizers and tour leaders coordinate two to four events every week with 10 to 50 participants each. Without an efficient tool like the Vereinsplaner app, which we have been using for four years, this would be unthinkable.
For us, the self-organization of event planners, flexibility, the ability to inform participants on short notice, handling changes or cancellations, having all relevant participant data available, and being able to reach everyone easily are all very important. In the mountains, this also has safety implications. The Vereinsplaner app is easy for both organizers and members to use and serves our club's needs perfectly.
High-level organization plays a vital role in professional sports as well. Clubs in the Bundesliga environment also rely on Vereinsplaner to structure their organizational processes.
