Bad Leonfelden Music Association

Founded in the mid-18th century, we are a music association that serves as an important cultural pillar in Bad Leonfelden. We offer many musicians an active way to spend their leisure time and provide the public with a wide range of cultural offerings. In addition to our active members, we also offer training programs for young people.

• Annual concert evaluations (Level D) and marching evaluations (Level E) with "Excellent Success" or "Gold Medal" ratings
• 2008/2012/2022 --> Upper Austrian Wind Orchestra Competition in difficulty levels C/D
• 2017 --> Hermes Prize (highest award in Upper Austria for music bands)
• 2016 --> National Winner at the Austrian Wind Orchestra Competition "Polka-Waltz-March"; 2006/2010 --> Winner of the Upper Austrian Wind Music Award

As a music association, we are particularly proud of our intensive work with young people, helping them discover and foster a love for music. It fills us with great joy to see how young talents develop and find a musical home in our association.

Our strong sense of community within the association is also a source of joy and pride. We create an atmosphere where members can support each other, exchange ideas, and work together toward their musical goals. It is great to see how we complement each other as a team and become a strong unit through our collaboration.

We are also particularly proud of our volunteer spirit. As an association, we are ready not only to commit ourselves to our own musical development but also to take responsibility for the community.

It is an ongoing challenge for our association to maintain and coordinate active club operations, including performances and rehearsals. It is particularly important to us that we make music together with joy, in order to share our love of music with the community.

For our music association, digitalization is of great importance, as it significantly simplifies our organizational work. By using digital technologies, we can, for example, speed up and simplify the exchange of information considerably. This allows us to communicate faster and more efficiently, making our work within the association more effective overall.
