Inselblick Garden Colony Association

Our association organizes the use of allotments by its members as a non-profit activity, advocates for the preservation of the garden site, and promotes its development as part of the public green space accessible to the community. Our members engage in environmentally conscious gardening, landscape maintenance, and local beautification, as well as the preservation, creation, and protection of habitats for plants and animals.

This year (2022), our association is celebrating its 35th anniversary as the Inselblick Garden Colony. Last year, we received the "Clever Allotment Association 2021" award. According to the jury, we won them over with our diversity and sense of community. Find out more on our website Inselblick Garden Association.

• "Old German Fruit Tree Avenue" project – Tree planting
• Creation of a meadow orchard
• Hoopoe Project – Bird conservation for an endangered species
• 15 years of the Harvest Festival combined with the Pumpkin & Zucchini Championship
• Beaver and tree protection following a major infestation

Five years ago, beavers arrived on our island and started targeting our trees 🌳. We implemented protective measures against gnawing. Over two years, we secured approximately 600 trees to prevent major damage on our island.

We want to be a modern association for all our members, young and old. Vereinsplaner helps us achieve this because all board members can access it simultaneously and make entries according to their permissions.
