Our guide

Active sports club with focus on youth work

What is the purpose of your sports club?

With our sports club in the Salzlandkreis district in Saxony-Anhalt, we promote sport and also make less common sports (e.g. dragon boating) accessible to our members.

What successes were you able to achieve?

Growth as a clun is definitely a big success. The current number of members is just under 260 and we are also able to arouse interest in special sports activities.

What are you particularly proud of as a club?

We are active in many different sports. From running and karting to Nordic walking to Zumba, volleyball, soccer and dragon boating.

In this context, we are very proud of our youth work. The Zumba sector in particular is of great interest among children. We now have 34 children training with us.

What challenges do you face as a club?

As the number of members grows steadily, the challenges of organizing sports operations are also becoming increasingly extensive. At this point, Vereinsplaner supports us in sharing information, scheduling and organising events.

Credo: Planning and coordination should be efficient. This gives us more time to concentrate on sporting activities.
