Lions Aliter Linz

We are a non-profit club with a focus on supporting young people, socially disadvantaged, sick and physically and mentally impaired people. Helping in case of disaster is also part of our goals.

Twice a year, we organize major charity events:

We also support several projects over the course of the year, primarily helping young people in Upper Austria. Our club, which consists of 25 active members, organizes the events, sends out the invitations and, last but not least, reviews and selects the volunteer projects into which the donations flow.

We are grateful to be able to support a wide range of projects, from caring for old, sick & frail people to vocational training for young people and art & science. An overview of events is available here.

Organizing during Corona was also more difficult for us. Our club thrives on the activity and cooperation of its members. That was a real challenge to raise funds even without events.

It makes our lives easier for ourselves. Organizing our meetings, keeping registration and unsubscription lists and planning events would hardly be possible without tools. In addition to our website with member area, we also use the Vereinsplaner as a supplement. It was easy for us to get started, data is stored in an Austrian tool and the app for members allows us to communicate over short distances.
